He arrived promptly and got me in to my home within minutes. He then did a lock change on the spot, even though we had not pre-arranged this, and gave me a new set of keys.

As I was about to put my house on sale, I noticed that some doors and windows had suffered some damage over time. I immediately went onto the local business directory within google, and found BC Doorlocks.

I called them and was met with an extremely pleasant locksmith on the other end of the phone. He told me he would be with me that evening to take a look at what needed doing and he was here right on the time he said.

I showed him the issues I had with my doors (one was wooden and had rotted at the bottom due to moisture from the weather). He had a look, weighed the situation and responded by telling me what had caused it, and my options and prices for repair.

The next day Brian got to work and when he had finished the doors looked like he had been out and purchased new ones. He had done such a good job that I would strongly recommend this company for any such job.

I was outside working in the garage, when I noticed my garage up and over door had become detached from its runners and one of the wires had snapped. My garage would now only open half way. Lucky that I had another side door or I’d still be in there!

I had remembered seeing BC Doorlocks on Facebook and went on a mission to find them again.

As I rang Brian, he told me he was currently on a job but would come to me on his lunch hour to temporarily secure my door until he finished his current job. Then he would come straight round to finish the job.

He arrived as promised and proceeded to quote me on the cost for repair of the damage that had been sustained.

The quote he gave me was not one of a person looking to line the pockets – it was very reasonable and the time span for repairs was perfect. He planned the job around my availability and got straight to work that night.

Within hours the garage door was opening up and down like it was never damaged. The job was perfect and the conversation with Brian was perfect for someone worrying how to tell the wife I had broken the garage door.

So, the door is fixed, the wife never knew and I made myself a new friend.
